In LDE we are implementing 2 innovative technologies for raising the impact of websites on tourists: 3D videos and artificial intelligence.

To present the resources of the territory we are starting to use the latest generation  3D videos.

The use of a video camera and that of an advanced  software assembly enables us to have some 3D videos with good film quality too.

For example, in a video taken close to a lake in a one direction ferry can be seen docking, then shifting the camera view trees are moving beneath snow mountain tops, and drifting view once more people can be seen walking along a path…

The  3D videos can be seen even from a PC because the rotation around the recording point is done using the mouse instead of the movement of the body.

The 3D video shoots even allow the user to have the sensation of being put in an environment, be it a great architectural building (church), a garden or a hotel lobby.

The other technology is Artificial Intelligence, that we use to allow the user to have a dialogue with the web site using natural language.The user of a site generated with LDE asks a question relative to a touristic need e.g. “I like culture”, or “I love culture”, the site geolocalizes it and gives a vocal response listing the resources of the territory close to him/her that are inherent to the culture. Moreover it answers in natural language saying “ if you love culture, nearby you can visit  Vezio Castle, Villa Monastero,....”
